Leather potion bag | LARP alchemist | DIY instructions
You don't need fancy armor to stand out at your LARP events. And you don't need to be a master craftsman to carry your potions comfortably and stylishly. With this pattern, you can build your own alchemist's bag to carry your potions and ingredients during your adventure.
In this listing, you'll find the complete pattern to build a leather potion bag that will make you stand out from the rest on your adventures and add personality to your character. The files include step-by-step instructions, and if you have any questions I'll personally help you throughout the process.
- Materials needed -
- About 5 sq feet of veg tan cow leather about 2’5mm thick.
- About 1/2 sq feet of softer leather like rawhide or goat leather.
- Leather dye and varnish.
- Stitching thread,
- About 28 rivets.
- 2 buckles between 18 and 20mm wide.
- 12 Chicago rivets.
Optional:
- Double-sided tape or contact glue.
- Tools needed -
- Leather scissors or a sharp cutter.
- Blunt needles.
- Leather punch holes (for rivets and eyelets sizes).
- Brushes (for dyeing)
- Awl (for stitching holes, but you can use a small punch hole).
- Rivets and eyelets setter sets.
- Beveler
