In this listing, you'll find the complete pattern to build a leather armor that will make you stand out from the rest on your adventures and add personality to your character. The files include step-by-step instructions and patterns for three different sizes, and if you have any questions, I'll personally help you throughout the process.
Sizes (aprox):
S-M: 94-103cm chest circumference
M-L: 100-111’5cm chest circumference
L-XL: 114-132cm chest circumference
- Materials needed -
- About 6sq.ft of 2'5-2'7mm thick veg tan leather.
- About 3’5sq.ft of rawhide leather, goatskin or any other thin and soft leather you prefer for the neck piece.
- Some straps of rawhide leather, goatskin or any other thin and soft leather you prefer.
- 14 rivets and rivets setter.
- 24x 12mm pyramids or rivets.
- 16 eyelets.
- 2 18mm-20mm buckles.
- Sewing thread.
Optional:
- Double-sided tape or contact glue.
- Tools needed -
- Leather scissors or a sharp cutter.
- Blunt needles.
- Leather punch holes (for rivets and eyelets sizes).
- Brushes (for dyeing)
- Awl (for stitching holes, but you can use a small punch hole).
- Rivets and eyelets setter sets.
- Beveler
The file is specially designed so you don't need extensive leatherworking experience, and you can adapt the final product to your skill level if you don't feel confident enough.
